See two species of crocodiles; the Estuarine (saltie) and the Freshwater and a whole range of other animals including lizards, turtles, and brightly coloured birds! Plus, no wildlife park would be complete without everyone’s favourite koalas – make sure you stop by the 4:30pm feeding and share the excitement!
Learn more about the evolution of Australia’s wildlife and why Australian native animals are so unique and different at Gondwana Gateway. Get up close to the amazing Cassowary on the Cassowary Walk and learn about it’s important relationship with the rainforest.
Take a tour of the crocodile farm and learn about how the commercial farming of crocodiles for their skin and meat contributes to wildlife and habitat conservation.
Embark on Hartley’s Lagoon Cruise (included) – an experience not to be missed! Learn more about crocodile’s behaviour and habitats with full commentary provided as you cruise across the lagoon. Nineteen crocodiles (ranging from 2.5 metres to 5 metres) call the lagoon home. Observe them lazing on the bank, building their nests or jumping from the lagoon!
